Target Beauty Box October 2015

Target releases a beauty box filled with samples and some full size products every couple of months. You only pay $5.00 for shipping to the U.S.  This is not a subscription box so you just have to try to find out when they're releasing the box and try to purchase it.  This box sells out FAST!  It usually sells out within a day or two.  I just got the October box a couple of days ago and I wasn't that impressed by the contents.

Want to know what was inside the October Target Beauty Box? Let's find out!

Target Beauty Box

This box didn't really impress me.  There was one full size product and a bunch of samples.  It was L'Oreal themed and I love L'Oreal but I just didn't care for this box.

L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara (Full Size)

I haven't tried this mascara yet but I'll definitely use it.  This was really the only thing I loved in this box.  The retail value for this mascara is around $5.35 so that paid for the box.

L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray (sample)

I don't really use hairspray so I will probably give this to a friend.

L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo (sample size)

I will definitely be trying this shampoo.  My hair is kind of damaged so I will see if this helps.

L'Oreal Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight Shampoo and Conditioner (foil packets)

I will be trying these but I am not a fan of foil packet samples.

L'Oreal Revitalift Volume Filler Re-Volumizing Serum (foil packet sample)

I will try this but they don't give you much in these sample packets.

L'Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Card

I think I was supposed to get a sample of this product but I only received this card and there was no sample on it.  There was only some test to take to find out if your skin needed a cell renewal boost.
I think they ran out of samples.  :(

L'Oreal Find Your True Match Now Card

This was just to find out what color makeup/foundation goes with your skin color.

Tara's Take:  The mascara was great but the rest of the box was a disappointment.  I don't use a lot of hair care products but I will probably try out the samples of shampoo and conditioner.  Some of the foil packets do not give you enough product to try out so they were disappointing.  I shouldn't complain too much since I only had to pay shipping but this month's box was just not for me.  Luckily, you can see everything that will be included in their boxes before you buy so you can choose whether to get the box or skip it.  I was just curious to see how the box was presented but I don't know if I'll be trying any boxes out in the future.
