Ipsy October 2015

Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that includes a cool makeup bag filled with awesome beauty samples.  The cost of this subscription is $10 per month.  You can fill out a beauty profile when you sign up so they can better customize your bag.

Want to see what's in the October Ipsy bag?  Let's find out!

Each month you will receive a cool looking makeup bag filled with beauty samples.  The theme of this month's bag is Alter Ego.  I don't usually go for gold but I love how this one is two different colors- gold on the front and black on the back.  I'll definitely be using this bag to store makeup and other small items.

Above is a pic of the back of the bag.

The items included in this bag are mostly small samples of all different brands of beauty products.  I love that you can try out all these different products and decide whether to purchase the full size product.

Below are the items included in the makeup bag:
(Please Note:  You may receive different samples based on your beauty profile)

It Cosmetics 'Hello Lashes!®' Clinically Proven 5-in-1 Mascara

I haven't used this mascara yet but it definitely looks like a mascara I would like.  It's clinically proven to increase lash volume by 430%!  Now that's awesome.

Hey Honey Come Clean: Propolis & Minerals Facial Scrub

I can't wait to try this facial scrub.  It exfoliates and cleanses and it's also for all skin types.

Touch In Sol Mini Browza Super Proof Gel Brow Pencil

I did try this product and the color (Mink Wink) was a medium to dark brown but it kind of looked black on my brows.  I never used a brow pencil before so I think I was just freaking out a little by having more color on my brows.  I ended up gifting this to my mom and she loves it!

theBalm Cosmetics 'Meet Matt(e) Hughes' Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick

This is my favorite product in this month's bag!!  I love this lipstick!  The shade is perfect (it's called Committed) and this is definitely a long lasting lipstick.  I've worn it to work over the past couple days and it seemed to last most of the day.  It goes on like a liquid but it looks and feels like a Matte lipstick.  I love this product!

Aromachology Exotic & Spicy Eau de Parfum

This perfume had a nice scent but I don't usually wear that much perfume and it seemed too strong for me.  I gifted this to my mom and she seems to like it.

Tara's Take:  I thought this month's Ipsy bag was good.  This is my first time trying this subscription and I wasn't disappointed.  I gifted some items to my mom but I thought that overall the products and makeup bag were awesome.  I love the lipstick and I think I'm going to buy the full size soon.  I think this subscription is worth the $10 a month for all the cool variety of beauty products you get to try.  I know my mom is happy, too!
