Julep Maven is a monthly nail polish/beauty box.  The cost is $24.99 per month.  You can customize your box each month by choosing 2 nail polishes and a makeup product from the list of monthly selections.  You can also skip months at a time if you don't like the choices of nail polish or makeup for a particular month.

The box came with a couple of cards from the CEO and Founder, Jane Park.  The inside of one card reads:  Every month we launch a new collection of full-size Julep polish and beauty, and curate boxes that make it easy and exciting to explore trends and push your beauty boundaries.  The card also states the benefits of being a Maven:  You'll have first access to new collections, 20% off + free shipping on julep.com, Maven-only offers and events, and a $40 value in every box.  Sweet!

Below is what was inside my Julep Maven Welcome Box:

Julep Nail Polish 'Oscar'

This is a pretty gold nail polish with gold glitter mixed in.  I tried to take a photo of all the nail polishes up close but they were too blurry.  This really is a pretty nail polish.

Julep Nail Polish 'Shari'

I think this is my favorite color in the box.  It's a light pink/lilac color.  Very pretty.

Julep Nail Polish 'Nic'

This color is a deep reddish/black.  I think it's a great color for Halloween!

Julep Gel Eye Glider in Blackest Black

I think this was a bonus item in the welcome box.  I like eye liner so this was a nice addition.

Tara's Take:  I really like this subscription box!  The nail polish colors are so pretty.  I love how you can customize your box and skip a month or two if you don't like the current month's choices.  Julep looks like a great company and I'm glad I signed up for this subscription.
