Play! By Sephora June 2016

Play! by Sephora is a beauty subscription box from Sephora that includes five deluxe sized samples of various beauty products and a bonus fragrance sample. Subscribers also receive a Play! Book (with tips, tricks, how-tos, and beauty advice on each product sample), a Play! Pass for a free in store tutorial, and a collectible makeup bag.  I was on the wait list for this subscription since last summer so I was very excited to finally receive this box!

Price:  $10 per month.

Shipping:  Free shipping but this subscription is currently only available in the U.S. and can ship to any address in the 48 contiguous United States.  They cannot ship to addresses in Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. Territories, or APO/FPO addresses at this time.

Play! by Sephora

June Play! Pass

Every Play! by Sephora box comes with an information sheet describing all the products inside.  The theme for June was 'The Minimalists.'

All the products came in this cute bag.

BareMinerals Bareskin Bronzer (.10 fl. oz.)

This is a lightweight liquid bronzer.  I haven't tried this yet so I'm not sure how this will look on my pale skin.

Retail Value for 1 oz.: $28

Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Mascara (.1 oz.)

This is a great mascara but I think I have three of these now from other beauty boxes.

Retail Value (.3 oz.):  $24

Tarte TarteGuard 30 Sunscreen Lotion (0.23 fl. oz.)

This is a SPF 30 sunscreen that's good to have especially during the summer months.

Retail Value (0.4 oz.): $12

Becca Backlight Priming Filter (0.20 fl. oz.)

I don't wear primer so I don't really know if I'll be using this product.

Retail Value (1 oz.): $38

Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It (.5 fl. oz.)

This hair cream enhances the texture and body of your hair.  I received some other Bumble and Bumble products in past beauty boxes.

Retail Value (2 oz.): $15

Tocca Beauty Florence

The perfume sample for June was Tocca Beauty Florence, a blend of bergamot, violet petals, and blonde wood.  I like the scent of this perfume.

My Thoughts:  I thought the June Play by Sephora was just okay.  I wasn't too thrilled with everything and I wish some of the samples were a little bigger but maybe I'm just expecting too much from this subscription because I had to wait so long to get off the wait list.  The samples added up to over $29 which is great for a $10 box so I shouldn't complain.  I guess I'll stick with this subscription a little longer.
