Treats May 2016

Treats is a monthly international snack subscription box. Every month they feature snacks and candy from a different country. I definitely had to try out this box because I love trying food from other countries.

Price:  $13.95 for the standard box which contains 4 to 6 international snacks, $25.95 for the premium pack which contains 8 to 12 international snacks.

Shipping:  Free shipping to the United States.  They ship worldwide but additional shipping costs will apply for international addresses.  International shipping rates depend on where you're located.

Every box comes with an information card detailing all the items inside.  Sorry but I forgot to get a picture of the info card.  This month's snacks were from Brazil!  This is a review of the standard box.

Pipoca Doce Vovozinha by Fabitos

These were yummy!  They are a Brazilian sweet popcorn.  The taste reminded me of a U.S. breakfast cereal called Honey Smacks.

Passatempo with Chocolate Filling by Nestle

These are chocolate flavored cookies and they are delicious.  They are also very crumbly and I got crumbs all over the place after I took them out of the package.

Presunto Conchinhas by Yokito

These are ham flavored corn chips and I wasn't too fond of them.  I didn't really like the ham flavor.

Bananinha Paraibuna by Bananinha Paraibuna

This candy bar made from bananas had quite a unique flavor.  I really liked it.

Sonho De Valsa Bonbons by Lacta

These Brazilian bonbons were my favorite snack in the box.  They are made from chocolate with a cashew nut filling.  Delicious!!

My Thoughts:  I loved my first month of Treats box.  The snacks were delicious and I love trying snacks from other countries.  It's hard to put a value on the box because I'm not sure of the retail prices for all the snacks but I definitely recommend this box if you are looking to try international snacks that may not be available in your country.
