Play! By Sephora July 2016 Review

Play! by Sephora is a beauty subscription box from Sephora that includes five deluxe sized samples of various beauty products and a bonus fragrance sample. Subscribers also receive a Play! Book (with tips, tricks, how-tos, and beauty advice on each product sample), a Play! Pass for a free in store tutorial, and a collectible makeup bag.  I was on the wait list for this subscription since last summer so I was very excited to finally receive this box!

Price:  $10 per month.

Shipping:  Free shipping but this subscription is currently only available in the U.S. and can ship to any address in the 48 contiguous United States.  They cannot ship to addresses in Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. Territories, or APO/FPO addresses at this time.

Loved the July bag!

Beautyblender Blotterazzi

This cushion blotter, used to remove shine and absorb oil, is washable and reusable.  Subscribers received one blotter and a sample of liquid blendercleanser.

Too Faced Soleil Matte Bronzer in Chocolate

This matte bronzer, formulated with cocoa powder,  smells just like chocolate!  This chocolate shade is for a medium to dark bronze.  I think the lighter milk chocolate shade would have been better for my skin tone.

Ouai Wave Spray (1.7 fl. oz)

This wave spray helps create beachy waves.

First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser

With Red Clay (1 oz.)

This red clay cleanser removes excess oil and purifies the skin.  This cleanser's key ingredients are red clay, licorice root, feverfew, and white tea.

Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer (.25 fl. oz.)

This primer (for combination to oily skin) controls shine, minimizes pores, and helps makeup last up to eight hours.

Nest Fragrances Citrine

The perfume sample for July was this nice floral scent.  According to the information sheet this fragrance has "layers of fresh lotus flower and freesia that mingle with bright citrus and a base of precious woods."

My Thoughts:  I liked the July Play by Sephora.  My favorite products were the BeautyBlender Blotterazzi and the Ouai Wave Spray.  I don't know if I'll use the bronzer or primer because I don't really use those types of products.  Unfortunately I had to cancel this subscription because I can no longer afford to keep so many subscription boxes.  The September box will be the last box I will review.  :(
