Julep Maven is a monthly nail polish/beauty box. Subscribers can customize their box each month by choosing nail polishes and/or makeup products from the list of monthly selections. Subscribers can also skip months at a time if they don't like the choices of nail polish or makeup for a particular month.
Price: My Maven is $24.99 per month for the month to month plan or $19.99 per month with a 3 month prepaid subscription. Maven Luxe is $39.99 per month for the month to month plan or $34.99 per month with a 3 month prepaid subscription.
Shipping: Shipping is free but they currently only ship to the United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, and Canada.

Julep Lip Shade Sheer Lip Butter in Plumeria
This sheer lip butter has an SPF 30 to protect your lips from UVA/UVB rays and is made with shea butter, broccoli seed oil, rosehip seed oil, and black current seed oil. It is very moisturizing and makes my lips feel soft. I chose this pretty plum shade. The only problem with this lip butter is that it had an expiration date of 8/2016 on it and I'm guessing that this means the SPF 30 in this product is useless. I did read somewhere that Julep was offering subscribers a replacement product if they received an expired lip butter in their box.

My Thoughts: I liked the products that I chose for July. The nail polishes are very pretty and I like the lip butter even though I was disappointed that the SPF 30 expired so soon. The thing I love most about Julep is that I can choose the products for my box each month and they always seem to have a great selection.
