Horror Block September 2015

Horror Block is a monthly subscription box filled with horror goodies.  The subscription is $19.99 plus shipping.  Shipping to the U.S. is $9.50 so the whole box costs around $29.49 per month. Boxes ship on or around the 25th of each month.  They also have other varieties of monthly boxes: Nerd Block Classic, Nerd Block Jr. Girls, Nerd Block Jr. Boys, Comic Block, Arcade Block, and the brand new Sci-Fi Block.  All boxes vary in price.

Here's what the September box included:

Rue Morgue Magazine

You will get a Rue Morgue magazine in every Horror Block.  This is a really great magazine for horror lovers!  There are articles about horror movies, news, reviews, and interviews.  I started
reading this and I love it already.
Retail Price: $9.95

Exclusive T-shirt 'Death's Head Moth'

You will also get an exclusive t-shirt (horror themed-of course) in every box.  You can choose your t-
shirt size when you sign up.  The one I got is a little small so I had to change my size on their website for my future boxes.  These t-shirts are 100% cotton and they come from ShirtPunch.com.
Retail Price: $10

Exclusive Night of the Living Dead DVD

This exclusive version of the movie includes the documentary 'Chronicles of the Living Dead'.  This is so cool!  I'll definitely be watching this around Halloween.  I didn't own this movie already so I was happy to receive this in my box.

Exclusive Aliens 2-Pack Vinyl Figures

I love horror collectibles and I was happy to receive these Aliens figures in my box.  I hope to receive more horror collectibles in future boxes!  Retail Price: $19.99?

Exclusive Horror Face Coaster Set

These are scary!  This is more of a novelty item.  They are cool but I probably won't use them.  Maybe I'll bring some to work and freak out my co-workers.

Exclusive Night of the Living Dead Magnet Set

Yes!!  These are so going on my fridge.  They're coming to get you Barbara.  Awesome!

Tara's Take:

I loved this month's horror block.  My favorites were the movie, the t-shirt, the fridge magnets, and the magazine.  So many cool horror items delivered each month.  I can't wait for the next one!  Many of these items are exclusives so it was difficult to find a retail value for them.  I think this box is definitely worth the money.
